James has been a lecturer in the Centre for Applied Psychology for ~6 years.
His expertise and interest is broadly in the area of positive psychology. Specific areas of interest include how intervention programs can enhance personal and social development. His PhD work focuses on the effects of adventure-based education on life skills.
Currently James teaches two of the third year undergraduate psychology units - Social Psychology and Survey Methods & Design in Psychology (the third year research and statistics unit).
James also has an interest in exploring new technologies in learning and development, including use of wikis and blogs.
