Configuring a space

These are the settings I usually change once I've created a space:

Logo

  • Switch space logo off (because it takes up unnecessary space)
  • Browse Space
    • Space Admin
      • Logo
        • OFF
  • Note: This can't be done for a personal space - instead edit profile (Your space - Preferences)

Theme

  • Change themes
  • Browse Space
    • Space Admin
      • Themes
        • Clickr (best one)

Permissions

  • Browse Space
    • Space Admin
      • Permissions
        • Adjust, depending on needs.
          • You need to decide who can view, comment, contribute, and administrate the space, etc.
          • I make most of my spaces publically viewable by default, and give all staff edit and admin access, and students edit access.
