This page hold the opinion/evaluation of tutorial on Thursday 9.30 about the wiki space for peer learning.
By reading what other people had done, and entering new information so duplication didn't occur.
Being able to edit other people's information was interesting. I think once information is entered, there should be something in place to stop people from deleting other people's work
-Everyone can contribute to the task at hand
-Each persons individual work can be seen so it is easy to see who has done what
-Editing others work to improve the final product
No mulitple people editing at the same time.
It is easy for someone to delete everyones work and post their own version. So if someone is lazy and they don't want to search for new information they can simply cut the current version and input the same information from a different source. Also many people didn't read the content before deleting others work.
It taught me that people generally don't read instructions properly.
It allowed people to collaborate without actually meeting in person. This is restrictive because without face to face meetings, instant feedback is not possible. It saves time by not having to meet in person, however it adds time because of the waiting time involved in receiving/giving feedback.
Ability to check people are doing their own work and not just claiming other people's work as their own.
The wikispaces could be a useful tool in teaching and learning, however face to face communication can never be replaced entirely.
