Brief description
A MIA Data Analyst will have an understanding of business processes and the ability to translate buisness requirements into systems. They wil have the ability to extract data, make an analysis to provide useful information for managment reporting and business analyst A MIA Data Analyst will usually work in a team environment provide tehchical, business and customer serivce per industry and specification.
Duties & responsibilities of this role
The Data Analyst is responsible for :
- the manipulation and analysis of data,
- looking at in house solutions and troubleshooting,
- improvement of data analysis processes and
- reporting and forecasting to management,
- assisting in the documentation and maintenance of technical support manuals for business use.
Duties include :
- provide technical and business support to business users across multiple departments,
- customer service and interaction with the business to promote understanding of the available data,
- promote data usage and provide timely business answers and
- report to the MIS Business Analyst.
Job requirements
The successful candidate will:
- have energy and attention to detail,
- strong analytical and problem solving skills,
- demonstrate initiative and have effective written and verbal communication skills
Experience and Qualifications
You will have 2-3 years previous work experience and tertiary qualifications in IT and/or Commerce are desirable.
It would be a great advantage if you have experience using SAS, HTNL or ASP.
Salary
Salary package of $55 - $80 pa
