Tips for finishing a degree
Embarking on a research degree can be a daunting task. It is not only a long process, but also so different to what most of us are generally doing. This, together with the fact that often few others seem to be interested or even fully understand what it is we want to do, tends to make it a rather isolating process. There will be ups and downs. Often it is only at the end of the process that it becomes clear what exactly we are supposed to do, what we can and cannot do...and even what we did and how it all fits together.
